Owner line (admin assistant).

When YOU call your own number, the AI recognises you and acts as your admin assistant — read back what's on, and make reversible changes (reschedule, cancel) hands-free, with a verbal confirm.

Goal

Give the owner a fast, hands-free way to check the day and make quick, reversible changes between jobs. Reschedule and cancellation happen by voice with a spoken confirmation; anything that goes out to a customer or moves money stays on the dashboard.

Triggers

  • Inbound call from the staff phone you set in onboarding (your mobile)
  • Recognised by caller-id — no PIN, no menu

What the AI does

  • Recognises you as the owner and greets you as such (no customer intake)
  • Reads back today's or this week's booked jobs — time, work, and who's on each
  • Reschedules or cancels a job by voice — but reads the change back and waits for your 'yes' first
  • Takes a note for you ('remind me to order parts for the Henderson job')
  • Keeps the AI + recording disclosure (compliance is invariant, even for you)

What the AI won't do

  • Send a quote or invoice, or accept on a customer's behalf, by voice — those are a deliberate tap in the dashboard so you've got eyes on anything that goes out or moves money
  • Make any change without reading it back and getting your confirmation
  • Fake a confirmation — if a change didn't land, it tells you
  • Treat you like a customer (no name/address capture, no upsell)

Tools available to the AI

Tools are typed and bounded — the AI calls them, it doesn't define them. Each tool call is logged with an idempotency key, so retries never produce duplicates.

Success looks like

On the drive between jobs you ring your own number: 'what's on this arvo?' → crisp read-back; 'push the 2 o'clock to tomorrow' → 'tomorrow at 9, confirm?' → 'yep' → done. No app, no screen. And when you ask it to send an invoice, it nudges you to the dashboard instead.

Toggle

Dashboard → Workflows → Owner line · on/off. Turning it off makes your own calls fall through to the normal customer flow.
